School Has Started.................................

Check out Nicholas. He spent last Saturday night with Granny and Papo. I thought I did pretty good getting this shot. He would not be still so that I could take his picture.

I'm worn out. It's only the third day of school. How can 12 students wear you out this much? They don't listen, they don't follow directions, they never stop talking, and all they want to do is play. Can you believe it? I've even had a parent conference about a child's behavior. I was not going to let this student continue his ways. His mother cried. I think I would cry too.



Stacy Miller, the PE aide said the kids were from HE double hockey sticks. I just laughed as I'm laughing now. I can't imagine why she would say such a thing.



Now onto new things. What a great week it has been as a team. I think we work very well together and I appreciate how everyone is stepping up to help as much as they can. Dismissal gets better each day. Hopefully the routine will start sinking in and they will know where to go.



Have you eaten in the new lunchroom yet? I love it, but I wish there was a television. I would really like to see the end of the View or news. Maybe we can suggest it.

I hope for our sakes, the hurricane does not come to Houston. I don't want to make up any school days.
